that magic compose key for special characters

Standard

I’m Afrikaans
we use a lot of silly characters sometimes
like ö ô ê ë

ComposeKey

if you set the compose key under “Keyboard” -> “Typing” under GNOME or Ubuntu Unity
then it works like this:

  • <right control> + <shift> + ” + o = ö
  • <right control> + <shift> + ^ + o = ô
  • <right control> + <shift> + ” + e = ë
  • <right control> + <shift> + ^ + e = ê

Pick a CARD

Standard

CARD stands for

  • Capture
  • Action
  • Rank
  • Do

I’ve fiddled with a few ideas, and I think this could work. So for the sake of Science and my love for my fellow human. I added it to github.
Only tested on Linux.
